MAYHEM: Day of DesTRUCKtion Derby

Mayhem: Day of DesTRUCKtion featuring Truck and Compact Demolition Derby with the all new Bombers Series on May 25th at Eastbound Park.

For the first time at Eastbound, Demolition Trucks will enter the ring and throw down a day of DesTRUCKtion for all the truck fans on the East Coast. The event will also feature Compact Divisions and Bomber racing. Bombers is a great way to start racing at Eastbound Speedway with a wide variety of vehicles to choose from.   The racetrack will have two obstacles, on the backstretch and the front stretch, where drivers have to go around tractor tire obstacles.

PRO•LINE 250 presented by your local Chevrolet Dealers hits Eastbound International Speedway this June 22nd.  

NASCAR announced that the third race of the 2024 NASCAR Canada Series season will take place at Eastbound International Speedway in Avondale, NL.  The annual PRO•LINE 250 presented by Newfoundland and Labrador Chevrolet Dealers will be held on Saturday, June 22 and televised by TSN, FloRacing, and RDS.

 

“We couldn’t be more excited for Atlantic Lottery’s PRO•LINE to return as the title partner of the NASCAR Canada Series race at Eastbound International Speedway for the third consecutive year,” said Patrick Daigle, Atlantic Lottery President and CEO. “We are always proud to showcase our incredible region to an international audience and to help celebrate world-class events such as this, right here at home.”

 

The annual PRO•LINE 250 presented by Newfoundland and Labrador Chevrolet Dealers will be 250 laps on Eastbound’s 3/8-mile oval track, which has shown in the last two years a marathon of action-packed racing.  Over 20 top NASCAR drivers such as DJ Kennington and Andrew Ranger will compete for championship points, purse money, and the PRO•LINE 250 trophy.  

 

The 2024 event will be the culmination of a series of races that will celebrate Eastbound International Speedway’s 10th Anniversary.  Included in the festivities will be a Fan Zone and additional races from all four divisions of Eastbound Speedway’s local weekly series. 

 

Last year, 5 local drivers entered the main event.  Sara Thorne of Chance Cove, NL finished 11th and was the only female driver in the field and scored the highest finishing position.  Drivers Josh Collins, Brandon McFarlane, Wayne Hanlon Jr, and Owen Groves were also featured and showed great potential in the 2023 PRO•LINE 250.   

 

Eastbound International Speedway has been a NASCAR-sanctioned Home Track since 2016 and has hosted the NASCAR International touring series since 2022.  The PRO•LINE 250 presented by Newfoundland and Labrador Chevrolet Dealers is a highlight tour stop in the 2024 season that features 13 races in six provinces of Canada.  

 

Tickets for the PRO•LINE 250 presented by Newfoundland and Labrador Chevrolet Dealers will go on sale now via www.showpass.com or www.eastboundpark.com only.   General Admission Tickets start at $20 for kids under 12 and children under 24 months are free.  Ticket options include: General Admission, Premium Reserved, Hospitality VIP, and Weekend RV Parking.  Fans will also have the option to purchase an Eastbound Speedway season pass, which will include a general admission ticket to the PRO•LINE 250 race.

2024 NASCAR Season Pass Available

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Eastbound International Speedway, a NASCAR Season Pass is available to purchase for the 2024 season.  The Pass will include tickets to all Advance Auto Parts NASCAR Series weekly races and the much anticipated NASCAR Canada Series on June 22nd.
